Please note: The model was developed with a temporal validation on a set of 290 patients diagnosed and treated in a single institution (gynecologic oncology department). Model performance indices were as follows: sensitivity 96%, specificity 86%, PPV 87.3%, NPV 95.6%, AUC 0.977.

Important - the model was not independently validated yet.

A manuscript with all details about the model is now being submitted to a journal.

One must be very careful when examining the patient with adnexal mass.
Sometimes the most accurate diagnosis is based on doctor’s clinical experience.
In some cases one must use an addition imaging and laboratory tests to make possibly the most accurate diagnosis.
Few data from different diagnostic modalities can be assessed separately or in combinations, which are provided in presented indices.
One must be aware that presented indices are an additional diagnostic tool and cannot replace correctly performed medical examination.
